The project's main goal is to implement a technological investment that will allow our company to put into practise the new plastic forming technology for metric internal threads developed as a result of research work and to launch, on its basis, the production of threaded elements using plastic forming technology in parts such as body, sleeve, disc and shaft with features and functionalities not yet available on the market. These will be threads larger than M20, which are now exclusively machined. The goal of the project planning was to identify current technological challenges in machining and the need to improve the quality of threaded elements, particularly the curved surface layer. As part of the MIAMI-commissioned research, appropriate technological solutions (processes and tools, including proprietary heads) were developed to enable the implementation of a product that is significantly improved over those previously produced (by us and competitors in the industry). At the time of submitting the financing proposal, the novel plastic processing technique developed through R&D work is fully ready for implementation. Our organisation owns the solutions that are the product of commissioned research activity.

The project's goal is to put in place a novel method for duplex plastic surface treatment of roller class parts. These components are utilised in a variety of applications, including hydraulic and pneumatic actuator piston rods, linear guides, drive shafts and drive shafts, and pins. Duplex machining technology is a revolutionary multi-stage integrated procedure for treating the plastic surface of roller-class items. The essence of it is surface plastic processing, which is done in two steps. Regular, symmetrical, and repeatable (macro) imperfections of the desired outline are embossed in the first stage of the uplift embossing operation. The irregularities created in the first step are crushed in the second stage, in the crushing (smoothing) operation with a disc having a biconical-bitoroidal-cylindrical shape, until the desired degree of deformation is attained. Appropriate technological solutions, procedures, and tools (including proprietary heads) have been developed to enable the deployment of a much improved product.

By making the investment and maintaining proper working conditions, it will be possible to limit the risk of occupational diseases caused by excessive exposure to chemical compounds (harmful factors) and a high degree of physical workload, which will have a negative impact on employee health. Finally, we hope to greatly improve employee health and safety.
